We have a guest post from West London Waste, who have a fantastic Real Nappy Week competition!
“Real Nappy Week kicks off next week with lots of activities and competitions to celebrate! Real Nappy Week is the annual celebration of washable nappies hosted by Go Real – a national social enterprisefor the promotion of washable nappies. This year’s theme is One World, One Change and we have some great surprises in store for you!”
“We’ll be hosting a three-week competition (18 April – 7 May) to promote washable nappies. Washable nappies are kind to your pocket, easy to use, great for the environment and they’re stylish too. Once you’ve experienced what it’s really like to use washable nappies on your little one, we think you’ll be as excited as we are about them and their benefit to the environment!
Did you know we has six free washable nappy packs to lend to west London parents? Help us spread the word by joining our competition! The winner will receive a £60 nappy voucher and an amazing accessory kit filled with everything you need to get started.
To enter simply take a photo of your disposable nappies (unused please) and post to Facebook or Twitter with the caption “Ready to Try”. Use #TheBottomLine and remember to tag @WestLondonWaste. If you have any friends who might be interested, tag them too.
If you’re not on social media, or prefer, you can email your photo directly to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Alternatively, any residents signing up to borrow one of our nappy packs during the competition (18 April – 7 May) will be automatically entered to win.
Please note the competition is only open to west London residents residing in one of the following boroughs: Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Richmond Upon Thames.
